East Mountains Landscaping and Structural Renovation

We replaced a damaged and failing retaining wall at a property in the East Mountains, and converted the perimeter from a gravel walkway into a xeriscape planting area. After removing the existing retaining wall, we installed a solid, anchored structure built with sound engineering principles to withstand many seasons of monsoonal rains and withstand hillside erosion. The retaining wall included staining and weather-sealing to prevent decay, and a drainage system to reduce erosion and create a path for runoff water from the homeowner's patio and seating area. Hott's Gardens included a xeriscape planting area within the retaining wall to create a feature that is both functional and aesthetic.
